Disabled Toilet Alarm
Why do I need a disabled toilet alarm?
It can sometimes be very difficult for a disabled person to raise alarm in an emergency situation. This system can provide a solution to this problem, helping building managers and business owners to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act and Care Standards Act. We can supply kits or help you install our system which meets and exceeds BS83000.
How does a disabled toilet alarm work?
If the red cord is pulled an alarm is triggered, giving a signal outside of the WC with the use of a light and sounder. The system can then be reset at the flick of a switch. This system can also be useful in single zone emergency situations, such as in changing rooms, reception areas and interview rooms to ensure safety in isolated places where confrontation is a possibility.
